Joan Collins arrested? Not me, says the Dynasty star
Dame Joan Collins has taken to Twitter to clarify that she has not been arrested.
The 81-year-old actress tweeted from her official account after reports that her namesake had been held during a protest in Ireland.
No I am not the Joan Collins Who was a rested yesterday At a Dublin protest meeting !!! The very idea!!

She was referring to the fact that yesterday, according to RTE News, a United Left Alliance TD, also named Joan Collins, was detained during a demonstration against the arrest of water charge protesters in Dublin.
The other Joan Collins was later released.
The Dynasty star was recently awarded a Damehood by the Prince of Wales.
