NELSON’S Peugeot Dealership, Perrys, has scooped the Dealer Group of the Year accolade at the eBay Motors Awards 2014.

The dealership was recognised for its approach in managing online consumer experiences and its exceptional use of digital technologies, including social media.

It has been a bumper awards year for Perrys Motor Sales so far, with its digital efforts seeing the Peugeot Dealer group win Car Dealer Magazine’s ‘Most Influential Dealer on Twitter’ award in May.

The group was also shortlisted for the AM Awards’ ‘Best Social Media Campaign’ and the Motor Trader Awards’ ‘Best Digital Initiative of the Year.’ Lee Manning, digital marketing manager at Perrys, said: “We’re delighted to win this award and it’s a real honour to be recognised for our efforts. “We’ve worked hard not only to provide our customers with a better user experience online, but also to ensure that their journey from online to offline is enhanced overall. “Our dealership staff have been a key part to this and have been fantastic in their support, embracing the digital change we’ve made.”

Mr Manning collected the award in a ceremony at the Plateau restaurant in London’s Canary Wharf.
